Patti Issues, Ben Rimalower's solo play about his love of Tony winner Patti LuPone, has extended its run, for a third time at The Duplex. The show will now run through December 29.
Written and performed by Rimalower, the heartfelt and comic autobiographical show explores Rimalower’s turbulent childhood growing up with a gay father, and the solace he found in following LuPone's career.
Patti Issues is directed by Aaron Mack and debuted at The Duplex on August 30. LuPone herself stopped by the Greenwich Village piano bar on September 6 to check out the show. Lupone returns to Broadway this fall in David Mamet’s new play The Anarchist.
