The Lion King and Mary Poppins Cancel October 31 Performances

Disney Theatrical Productions has canceled the Wednesday, October 31 performances of The Lion King and Mary Poppins due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The company hopes to resume performances on November 1, but an official decision as not been made at this time.

Disney's third current Broadway show, Newsies, did not have a performance scheduled for October 31 to cancel, and hopes to resume on November 1 as well.
