Ferocious Family Comedy Dead Accounts, Starring Katie Holmes and Norbert Leo Butz, Begins Previews

Theresa Rebeck’s new Broadway comedy Dead Accounts, which stars Katie Holmes and Norbert Leo Butz as a pair of bickering siblings, begins previews on November 5 at the Music Box Theatre. Opening night for the show is scheduled for November 29.

Dead Accounts follows a Midwestern man named Jack (Butz) whose mysterious, middle-of-the-night homecoming is met with questions from his skeptical sister Lorna (Holmes). The show also stars Judy Greer as Jack’s wife, Josh Hamilton as his childhood friend and Jayne Houdyshell as Jack and Lorna’s mother.

The show is directed by Jack O’Brien and will feature scenic design by David Rockwell, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by David Weiner and sound design/music by Mark Bennett.
