Charles Dickens may have died before finishing his novel The Mystery of Edwin Drood, but the cast of Rupert Holmes’ screwball musical is bringing the story to a giddy resolution every night in Roundabout Theatre Company’s starry revival. Broadway.com’s resident artist Justin “Squigs” Robertson brought Drood’s colorful cast of characters to life, which makes it all the easier to identify one of these suspicious folks as the murderer! The production stars (clockwise from top left) Peter Benson, Andy Karl, Gregg Edelman, Jessie Mueller, Nicholas Barasch, Robert Creighton, Chita Rivera, Stephanie J. Block, Jim Norton, Betsy Wolfe and Will Chase. Who will you cast your vote for?
About the Artist: With a desire to celebrate the magic of live theater and those who create it, and with a deep reverence for such touchstones as the work of Al Hirschfeld and the wall at Sardi’s, Squigs is happy and grateful to be among those carrying on the traditions where theater and caricature meet. He was born and raised in Oregon, lived in Los Angeles for quite a long time and now calls New York City his home.
