Cheyenne Jackson, Alicia Silverstone & Henry Winkler Get It On as The Performers Opens on Broadway

Things are heating up on Broadway as the new porn comedy The Performers, starring Cheyenne Jackson, Henry Winkler and Alicia Silverstone, opens November 14 at the Longacre Theatre. 

Written by David West Read and directed by Evan Cabnet,The Performers follows two high school buddies (Jackson and Daniel Breaker) who run into each other at the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas. Jackson plays adult film star Mandrew, who is nominated for Male Performer of the Year, while Breaker plays Lee, a reporter sent to cover the event. Ari Graynor and Silverstone star as Jackson and Breaker’s respective love interests, who get swept up in the frenzy of this crazy weekend in Vegas. Also along for the ride are Winkler (as legendary porn star Chuck Wood) and Jenni Barber as Sundown (a budding adult film actress).

The Performers features set design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, costume design by Jessica Wegener Shay and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
