From Mormon mission to magazine cover! The New Normal star Andrew Rannells has landed a plush spot on the cover of Out magazine for the publication’s 18th annual “Out 100” list, honoring their picks for the 100 most compelling gay people of the year. Dubbed “The Ingenue,” Rannells graces one of four special covers, with Glee comedienne Jane Lynch, musician Boy George and drag star Sharon Needles feautered in the other three editions. This year’s listing also includes a gaggle of Broadway stars including How to Succeed alum Michael Urie, Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark’s Matthew Wilkas, Smash newbie Andy Mientus, Tony-nominated playwright Jon Robin Baitz, Jujamcyn president Jordan Roth and Venus in Fur director Walter Bobbie. The “Out 100” issue will be available on newsstands on November 20.
