Broadway Quickie! Porn Comedy The Performers, Starring Cheyenne Jackson & Henry Winkler, to Close Just Days After Opening

The fun is over for the porn star crew of the new Brodway comedy The Performers. David West Read's play will hold its final performance on November 18 at the Longacre Theatre. The comedy opened on November 14. 

The Performers follows a tabloid journalist (Daniel Breaker) attending the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas to interview a former high school classmate (Cheyenne Jackson) who has become a porn star named Mandrew. Along for the wild ride are the journalist's girlfriend (Alicia Silverstone), Mandrew's wife, Pussy Boots (Ari Graynor), a porn legend named Chuck Wood (Henry Winkler) and an up-and-coming adult fim actress named Sundown (Jenni Barber).

Directed by Evan Cabnet, The Performers features set design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, costume design by Jessica Wegener Shay and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
