Tony Yazbeck Says Good Morning to Singin’ in the Rain
Broadway dancer extraordinaire Tony Yazbeck (A Chorus Line, Gypsy) follows in the tap shoes of Gene Kelly as Don Lockwood in a Chicago area production of the classic Hollywood musical Singin’ in the Rain. (Yazbeck stepped in after fellow Broadway vet Sean Palmer was injured during rehearsal.) Featuring Bonnie & Clyde scene-stealer Melissa Van Der Schyff as Lina Lamont, the show will run November 21 through January 13 at Drury Lane Theatre.

The National Symphony Orchestra hosts Smash bombshell Megan Hilty and dashing Broadway leading man Aaron Lazar for their concert Luck Be a Lady: Megan Hilty Sings Sinatra and More. The musical evening features Hilty and Lazar putting their signature touches on songs originated by Frank Sinatra, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and the Rat Pack and written by Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and more. Conducted by Steven Reineke, Luck Be a Lady will be performed at the Kennedy Center on November 23 and 24.
