The cast album of Chaplin will be available via digital download on December 4, with the CD to hit stores on January 8, 2013. The album will be released by Masterworks Broadway.
Featuring a score by Christopher Curtis, a book by Curtis and Thomas Meehan and directed by Warren Carlyle, Chaplin tells the story of the celebrated star of City Lights, The Gold Rush, The Kid, The Great Dictator, Modern Times and more. From his poverty stricken childhood in London to his rise to fame in Hollywood, Chaplin takes a closer look at the beloved icon who changed the history of cinema.
Starring Rob McClure in the title role, the cast of Chaplin also includes Jenn Colella, Erin Mackey, Christiane Noll, Jim Borstelmann, Michael McCormick, Zachary Unger and Wayne Alan Wilcox. The production also features Justin Bowen, Emilee Dupre, Sara Edwards, Leslie Donna Flesner, Lisa Gajda, Timothy Hughes, Ethan Khusidman, Ian Liberto, Renee Marino, Michael Mendez, Sarah O’Gleby, Hayley Podschun, Adam Rogers, William Ryall, Eric Santagata and Emily Tyra.
The Chaplin cast album will include “Look at All the People,” “If I Left London,” “Life Can Be Like the Movies,” “The Look-A-Like Contest,” “The Life That You Wished For,” “Just Another Day in Hollywood,” “What Only Love Can See,” “Where Are All The People,” “This Man” and more.
