Members of the hugely successful boy band One Direction stopped by the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on December 2 to catch a performance of the holiday musical Elf. The band, which consists of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, is in town to perform at Madison Square Garden, but (from left) Tomlinson, Malik and Payne took time out of their busy rehearsing schedule to see the musical about Buddy and pose for a photo with the cast. Based on the popular film starring Will Ferrell, Elf stars Jordan Gelber as Buddy and Wayne Knight as Santa, along with Beth Leavel, Leslie Kritzer and Mark Jacoby. One Direction's second album, Take Me Home, was released in November and sold over a million copies worldwide in its first week. Watch for them in a city near you beginning in February 2013, and see Elf on Broadway through January 6.
