Nick Payne’s comic drama If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet returns to off-Broadway’s Laura Pels Theatre on December 8 after a brief hiatus. The production, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, will play an additional two-week engagement through December 23.
In addition to Gyllenhaal, the Roundabout Theatre Company production stars Annie Funke, Enid Graham and Brian F. O’Byrne. If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet tells the story of Anna (Funke), a 15-year-old girl who is bullied because of her weight. When explosive Uncle Terry (Gyllenhaal) comes for an unexpected visit, Anna and Terry strike up an unexpected friendship. Directed by Michael Longhurst, If There is I Haven’t Found It Yet initially opened off-Broadway on September 20.
The creative team for If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet includes set designer Beowulf Boritt, costume designer Susan Hilferty, lighting designer Natasha Katz and original music and sound designer Obadiah Eaves.
