Cheyenne Jackson has tapped Tony Award winner Nina Arianda to join him as a special guest for his New Year’s Eve celebration Cheyenne Jackson… Music of the Mad Men Era, which will be held at the Kennedy Center on December 31.
Reprising his performance at Carnegie Hall last year, Jackson will sing lounge music from the ‘50s and ‘60s accompanied by members of the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Steven Reineke. The performance will be followed by a party in the Grand Foyer of the Kennedy Center, where live music, dancing and a balloon countdown will usher in the new year.
Arianda won a 2012 Tony Award for her role as Vanda in David Ives’ Venus in Fur, following her nomination for her performance in Born Yesterday. Her film credits include Midnight in Paris, Tower Heist, Win Win and Higher Ground, and her TV resume includes 30 Rock and The Good Wife. Arianda will also demonstrate her vocal chops when she plays Janis Joplin in an upcoming biopic.
