Homeland for the Holidays! Mandy Patinkin Goes Christmas Caroling with Stephen Colbert

Broadway legend Mandy Patinkin may play a terrorist-fighting teddy bear on Homeland, but the velvety vocalist was decidedly less cuddly when he appeared on The Colbert Report on December 12. Stephen Colbert and Patinkin got into some lighthearted arguing about American military tactics that eventually circled back to a relatively happy conclusion. Patinkin was quite animated in delivering a speech met with roars of applause from the crowd. And of course, what better way to end a hearty debate than with a three-way Christmas carol with Patinkin, Colbert and R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe? Watch all the action below!
