The holiday season is never complete until A Charlie Brown Christmas airs on TV, so it's no surprise the Saturday Night Live crew would poke fun at Charles Schultz’s iconic creation for the show's own December 15 Christmas special. Beloved for its sweet and wholesome nature, the Charlie Brown special was given an R-rated twist thanks to SNL. The sketch presented You're a Rat Bastard, Charlie Brown, a fictional off-Broadway stage production, re-imagning the Peanuts gang as a foul-mouthed crew of youngsters. SNL cast members portrayed twisted versions of the Peanuts gang, including Bill Hader as Al Pacino playing Charlie Brown, Jason Sudeikis impression of Philip Seymour Hoffman as Pig-Pen and Nasim Pedrad's take on Kristin Chenoweth's Tony-winning role of Sally.
