Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan Extends at Playwrights Horizons

The Great God Pan, the latest play by Amy Herzog (After the Revolution, 4000 Miles) will get a final one-week extension at Playwrights Horizons’ Mainstage Theatre. Originally set to play through December 30, the acclaimed off-Broadway production must close on January 13.

Under the direction of Carolyn Cantor, The Great God Pan stars Becky Ann Baker, Peter Friedman, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Goldberg, Keith Nobbs, Joyce Van Patten and Erin Wilhelmi.

The Great God Pan centers on Jamie (Strong), whose life in Brooklyn seems just fine, with a beautiful girlfriend (Goldberg) a budding journalism career and parents (Baker and Friedman) who live just far enough away. But when a possible childhood trauma comes to light, lives are thrown into a tailspin.
