Dead Accounts, Starring Katie Holmes and Norbert Leo Butz, Sets Early Closing Date

Dead Accounts,Thesera Rebeck's new Broadway comedy starring Katie Holmes and Norbert Leo Butz, will play its final performance on January 6 at the Music Box Theatre. The limited engagement had originally been scheduled to run through February 24. At the time of closing the show will have played 27 preview and 44 regular performances.

Directed by Jack O'Brien, the comedy charts the mysterious midnight appearance of Jack (Butz), a crafty New Yorker whose return to his Midwestern home in the middle of the night is greeted by his sister Lorna (Holmes), who raises her eyebrow and a lot of questions. Why is he back? Where did he get all this money? And where is his wife everyone hates? The cast also features Jayne Houdyshell, Judy Greer and Josh Hamilton.
