The Actors Fund will honor Broadway vet Kathi Moss at the Kathi Moss’ Rama-Lama-Ding Dong Reunion! on January 14 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre. Moss, who originated the roles of Cha-Cha Di Gregorio in Grease, Saragina in Nine and Mme. PeePee in Grand Hotel, was diagnosed with the rare disease cardiac amyloidosis. A slew of original cast members from all three productions are scheduled to appear to raise money for Moss' healthcare.
Benefit performers scheduled to appear include Tony winners Jane Krakowski, Liliane Montevecchi and Maury Yeston, Tony nominees Karen Akers, Pat Birch and Walter Willison, as well as Mark Baker, Jeanie Bowers, Shelly Burch, Andrew Casses, Carole Demas, international ballroom champions Pierre Dulaine and Yvonne Marceau, Louise Edeiken, Taina Elg, Josh Franklin, Julie Hafner, David Jackson, Ken Jennings, Laura Kenyon, Dorothy Kiara, Ilene Kristen, Nancy McCall, Denise Nettleton Jacobs, Rita Rehn, Ken Leigh Rogers, Steve Ross, Camille Saviola, Bob Stillman, Patrick Wilcox, Penny Worth, Alaina Warren Zachery and more surprise guests.
Directed and written by Kenyon and Willison, Kathi Moss’ Rama-Lama Ding Dong Reunion! will feature musical supervision by Steve Ross, and musical direction by Greg Jarrett and Daniel Sefik.
