Porgy and Bess star Joshua Henry will have a recurring role on the upcoming season of Army Wives, according to Deadline. The Tony nominee will have an option to become a regular on the Liftetime series should the drama get renewed for another season.
Army Wives follows the struggles, dreams, friendships and lives of four army wives, one army husband, and their families living on an active Army post in South Carolina. The show is set to return for its seventh season in March. Bring It On's Elle McLemore also recently joined the cast.
Henry recently starred in Encores! musical revue Cotton Club Parade. He earned a Tony nomination for The Scottsboro Boys. His other Broadway credits include American Idiot and In the Heights.
