Josh Gad’s political sitcom 1600 Penn premieres on January 10 on NBC, and lucky for Gad, his press tour included a trip to—where else?—the nation’s capital! Gad and co-creator Jon Lovett dropped by MSNBC’s Morning Joe to reveal details about the previous night’s private White House screening of the new comedy, as well as Gad’s inspiration for his no-goodnik First Son (he joked he modeled the character after Malia Obama!)
