Michael Puzzo’s Halloween stripper comedy Spirits of Exit Eleven opens at off-Broadway’s Lion Theatre in Theatre Row on January 17. The show began previews on January 10 and will run through February 2.
Set in a dilapidated New Jersey strip club/pizza parlor, Spirits of Exit Eleven tells the darkly comic story of a group of ragtag outcasts who struggle to keep their dignity and livelihood on Halloween.
Frank Licato directs the production, which stars Nicole Balsam, Michael Carlsen, Shane Patrick Kearns, Stephen Payne and Deborah Rayne. The show features scenic design by David Meyer, lighting design by Adam Greene and costume design by Alexis Forte. The production also features dance choreography by Marlo Hunter, fight choreography by David Anzuelo and pole choreography by Alisa Boniello.
