Linda Eder has been forced to reschedule her upcoming concert engagement at 54 Below due to the flu. Eder was initially scheduled to perform at the Midtown nightclub January 22 through January 26. Three-time Tony nominee Marin Mazzie will now perform in Eder's place with an encore presentation of her new solo show. Eder's concert dates have been reschedule for April 10 through 13.
Mazzie is a Tony nominee for her roles in Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime and Passion. She has also appeared on Broadway in Enron, Next to Normal, Spamalot, Man of LaMancha and Into the Woods. She most recently appeared off-Broadway in the first New York revival of Carrie.
Eder launched her career in 1987 on the popular TV show Star Search. She famously appeared on Broadway as Lucy in Frank Wildhorn’s musical Jekyll and Hyde. Since that time, Eder has returned to Broadway twice with solo concerts and released 14 solo albums featuring Broadway tunes and her own original songs.
