Let the contest begin! Tickets are now on sale for the new musical adaptation of Hands on a Hardbody, starring Hunter Foster, Keith Carradine, Jay Armstrong Johnson and more. Directed by Neil Pepe, the musical features music by Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green, lyrics by Green and a book by Doug Wright. The production will begin previews February 23, with an official opening night set for March 21 at Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
Hands on a Hardbody tells the story of ten Texans who are competing to win a brand new truck. Under a scorching sun for days on end, and armed with nothing but hope, the contestants must fight to keep at least one hand on the truck at all times in order to win it. Hands on a Hardbody is based on the 1997 documentary of the same name.
