Tickets Now On Sale for Broadway's Hands On A Hardbody, Starring Hunter Foster & Keith Carradine

Let the contest begin! Tickets are now on sale for the new musical adaptation of Hands on a Hardbody, starring Hunter Foster, Keith Carradine, Jay Armstrong Johnson and more. Directed by Neil Pepe, the musical features music by Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green, lyrics by Green and a book by Doug Wright. The production will begin previews February 23, with an official opening night set for March 21 at Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Hands on a Hardbody tells the story of ten Texans who are competing to win a brand new truck. Under a scorching sun for days on end, and armed with nothing but hope, the contestants must fight to keep at least one hand on the truck at all times in order to win it. Hands on a Hardbody is based on the 1997 documentary of the same name.

In addition to Foster as Benny Perkins, Carradine as J D Drew and Johnson as Greg Wilhote, Hands on a Hardbody stars Allison Case as Kelli Mangrum, David Larsen as Chris Alvaro, Jacob Ming Trent as Ronald McGowan, Kathleen Elizabeth Monteleone as Heather Stovall, Mary Gordon Murray as Virginia Drew, Jim Newman as Mike Ferris, Connie Ray as Cindy Barnes, John Rua as Jesus Pena, Keala Seattle as Norma Valverde, Dale Soules as Janis Curtis, Scott Wakefield as Frank Nugent and William Youmans as Don Curtis/Dr. Stokes.

Hands on a Hardbody includes choreography by Sergio Trujillo, set design by Christine Jones, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kevin Adams and sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy.
