Good news to those fans of the Argentinian spectacle Fuerza Bruta: Look Up, the show will continue off-Broadway indefinitely. The unique show has scrapped its previously announced closing date of February 3 and will continue on at downtown’s the Daryl Roth Theatre.
Fuerza Bruta: Look Up is described as a nonstop collision of dynamic music, visceral emotion and kinetic aerial imagery. The show's visual effects include a man running full throttle through a series of moving walls and women frolicking in a watery world suspended just inches above the audience.
The show premiered in Buenos Aires in 2005 and has been staged in Lisbon, London, Buenos Aires and Bogota, Berlin and Madrid. The New York production opened in October 2007 and was initially only scheduled for an 18-week run—five years later, Fuerza Bruta is still going strong.
