Before the kickoff to Super Bowl XLVII, audiences were treated to a very touching moment courtesy of Smash star Jennifer Hudson. The Oscar winner teamed up with the Sandy Hook Elementary School Chorus to sing a rendition of "America the Beautiful" on the field at the Superdome in New Orleans. The Grammy winner tweeted, "Such a privilege to be performing w the Sandy Hook elementary chorus at the #SuperBowl today." The performance was a tribute to those who lost their lives at the tragic school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14. Looking graceful in a black top and white pencil skirt, Hudson belted out the patriotic tune with the children. Watch the video of their performance below!
