Newly-minted Broadway actress Judy Greer, who made her debut last year in Dead Accounts, is tired of you mistaking her for someone else.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the Arrested Development and Archer star is set to pen a humorous collection of essays titled I Don’t Know What You Know Me From: Confessions of a Co-Star, which will chronicle Greer’s life from her Mid-western childhood to becoming a successful Hollywood film and TV career.
The book, which earned Greer a $1 million advance, will include essays including “Celebrities I’ve Peed Next To,” “Bad Oscar!” and “I’m Not America’s Sweetheart, I’m America’s Best Friend.” The book is scheduled for publication in 2014.
Keen Broadway.com readers will remember that Greer has always embraced the way fans approach her. She told Broadway.com in November that most fans on the street will ask her, “Aren’t you that actress?” Now that she’s got a Broadway debut under her belt and a newfangled book deal, Greer’s only appropriate response should now be “Damn right I am!”
