Tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre Company revival of Lanford Wilson’s archaeological drama The Mound Builders, starring Zachary Booth, David Conrad and Janie Brookshire. Directed by Jo Bonney, performances begin on February 26, with an official opening night set for March 17 at off-Broadway’s Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center. The production will play a limited engagement through April 7.
The Mound Builders tells the story of a team of archaeologists who visit an Illinois town to unearth the mysteries of the Mound Builders. As they excavate the remains of the Native American civilization, they struggle with powerful and dangerous forces of ambition and legacy.
The production stars Booth as Dr. Dan Loggins, Brookshire as Cynthia Howe, Conrad as Professor August Howe, Lisa Joyce as Dr. Jean Loggins, Rachel Resheff as Kirsten, Will Rogers as Chad Jasker and Danielle Skraastad as D.K. Eriksen.
The Mound Builders includes scenic design by Neil Patel, costume design by Theresa Squire, lighting design by Rui Rita, sound design by Darron L. West and projection design by Shawn Sagady.
