Tickets are now available for Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Richard Greenberg's world premiere play based on Truman Capote’s classic novella. The show begins previews at Broadway’s Cort Theatre on March 4, with opening night set for March 20.
Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke leads the play as Holly Golightly, with Cory Michael Smith making his Broadway debut as Fred. The cast also includes George Wendt, Suzanne Bertish, Danny Binstock, Pedro Carmo, Elisabeth Anthony Gray, Murphy Guyer, Eddie Korbich, Paolo Montalban, Kate Cullen Roberts, John Rothman, Tony Torn, Lee Wilkof and James Yaegashi.
Set in New York City in 1943, Breakfast at Tiffany’s follows a young writer from Louisiana (Smith) who falls head over heels for a charming good-time girl Holly Golightly (Clarke). Fred’s lack of wealth poses problems for his potential relationship with Holly, whose suitors include playboy millionaires and at least one future president of Brazil. Will Holly fall for Fred, just as her mysterious past catches up with her?
The production features scenic design by Derek McLane, costumes by Colleen Atwood, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski, projections by Wendall K. Harrington and music and sound by Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen.
