The acclaimed revival of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf may be wrapping up its Broadway run on March 3, but leading man Tracy Letts won't be wasting any time getting back to work. The actor and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright has signed on to star in the upcoming indie flick Love Is Strange, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Letts joins a cast that also includes Harry Potter's Michael Gambon, Tony nominee Alfred Molina and London stage celeb Kelly Reilly. In the film, Letts and Reilly will play a married couple living in Park Slope. Their relationship is tested when an elderly uncle (Gambon) is forced to move into their home.
Love Is Strange will begin shooting this summer in New York. Additional casting and a premiere date have yet to be announced.
