Two-time Tony winner Nathan Lane is gearing up to star in the Broadway production of Douglas Carter Beane’s new play The Nance, and we caught up with Lane’s Nance co-star Andrea Burns to get the skinny on this exciting world premiere production.
“It takes place in the 1930s burlesque scene, and the three women [Burns, Tony winner Cady Huffman and Jenni Barber] are burlesque performers along with Nathan Lane,” Burns told Broadway.com. “We are so excited. [The script] is everything you want it to be: It’s hilarious, it's poignant, it's moving and it’s powerful. You’re not ready for Nathan Lane in this! He’s spectacular. We are all really excited."
