Michael Cerveris, Tonya Pinkins, Jan Maxwell & More to Take Part in Atlantic Theater Company’s 2013 Gala

Tony winners Michael Cerveris (Evita) and Tonya Pinkins (Caroline, or Change) and five-time Tony nominee Jan Maxwell (Follies) will perform as part of Atlantic Theater Company’s 2013 gala, Songs in Celebration of a New Day. The annual spring gala will be held on February 25 at 583 Park Avenue.

In addition to Cerveris, Pinkins and Maxwell, Songs in Celebration of a New Day will include performances by Christine Lahti (God of Carnage) and David Pittu (CQ/CX). The show will feature an evening of original music celebrating the future of Atlantic Theater Company.

Over its 25 year history, Atlantic Theater has won 12 Tony Awards,11 Lucille Lortel Awards, 15 Obie Awards and earned many other accolades. Atlantic is currently presenting the world premiere of Craig Lucas’ The Lying Lesson, starring Carol Kane and Mickey Sumner.
