In the new indie film Isn’t It Delicious, Tony nominee Kathleen Chalfant (Wit, Angels in America) must make amends with her loved ones and help her adult children realize their potential before her time runs out. Chalfant stars as Joan Weldon, a New England matriarch who discovers she is dying of lung cancer, and opts not to seek treatment. The movie co-stars none other than Tony winner Alice Ripley as Chalfant's wacky daughter, Caroline. In the trailer below, Ripley pushes pot and painkillers on her ailing mother, and audiences get a glimpse of the rough road ahead for Chalfant’s character ...'cause her kids are a real mess! Isn’t It Delicious will hit theaters later this year.
