BDSM-azing! Tickets are now on sale for Cuff Me: The Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody, which makes its off-Broadway premiere at the Actors Temple Theatre on March 27. The musical opens on May 5.
Written by members of the Virginia-based improv group The Pushers, the musical is an unauthorized spoof on the bestselling erotica novel that uses parodies of hit songs to tell the kinky story of Fifty Shades of Grey. The novel was a record-breaking hit in 2012, selling more than 65 million copies worldwide. A film adaptation is currently in development.
The off-Broadway cast features Matthew Brian Bagley, Laurie Gardner, Alex Gonzalez and Tina Jensen. The musical was conceived by Tim Flaherty and is directed by Sonya Carter.
