Clowning duo Bill Irwin and David Shiner stirred up lots of silly trouble on March 4, when their new comedic collaboration Old Hats opened officially at the Pershing Square Signature Center. Directed by Tina Landau and featuring music by Nellie McKay, Old Hats adds technology and modern updates to Irwin and Shiner’s always hilarious clown shtick. After tickling the audience’s funny bones, Irwin and Shiner kicked up their clown shoes at a snazzy soiree with family and friends.
