Skylar Astin Eyes Starring Role on TBS Pilot Ground Floor

Here’s some aca-awesome news: Pitch Perfect star and Broadway alum Skylar Astin is in talks to star in the TBS comedy pilot Ground Floor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Ground Floor is a workplace comedy about the tight-knit, carefree support staff at a major corporation that encounters an alpha male worker who questions his own happiness. Astin would play Brody Moyer, a charming manager who falls for building supervisor Jennifer (Cougar Town’s Briga Heelan).

The project comes from Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence and Friends producer Greg Malins, and co-stars Glengarry Glen Ross player John C. McGinley.
