ER vet Maura Tierney makes her Broadway debut this April in Lucky Guy, the final play by Nora Ephron, which also marks the Mainstem debut of co-star Tom Hanks as reporter Mike McAlary. Tierney stopped by The View to chat with the show’s quintet of ladies about her role as McAlary’s wife Alice, as well as the honor of performing Ephron’s last script and working with director George C. Wolfe. The gals also bring up Tierney’s apparent status as “the thinking man’s sex symbol,” a superlative that seemed to surprise the newly-minted Broadway star.
