Encores! continues its 20th anniversary season at New York City Center with the 1966 comic book inspired musical It’s a Bird…It’s a Plane…It’s Superman. With a book by David Newman and Robert Benton, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Lee Adams, this super show stars Scandalous vet Edward Watts as the Man of Steel and Jenny Powers as his ladylove Lois Lane. The Encores! revival also features Alli Mauzey as Sydney, Will Swenson as Max Menken, David Pittu as Dr. Sedgwick and Adam Monley as Jim Morgan.
