Great news, Last Five Years fans! The off-Broadway revival of Jason Robert Brown’s beloved musical has been extended for a second time. Previously scheduled to perform through April 28, the production will now play an additional two weeks through May 12. Directed by Brown, the Second Stage Theatre production stars Betsy Wolfe and Adam Kantor. Opening night is set for April 2.
The Last Five Years tells the story of Jamie (Kantor) and Cathy (Wolfe), two 20-something New Yorkers who fall head over heels in love—and subsequently out of it—over the course of five years. In a city where professional and personal passions collide, charting the waters of love and matrimony can sometimes prove to be too much. The Last Five Years features songs like “Still Hurting,” “Shiksa Goddess,” “Moving Too Fast” and “Goodbye Until Tomorrow.”
