Black Stache is up to no good again as Peter and the Starcatcher resumes performances March 18 at its new off-Broadway home in New World Stages. Jason Ralph leads the Peter Pan prequel as Boy, with the show's longtime cast member Rick Holmes stepping up to the role of Black Stache. Nicole Lawrence plays Molly.
Also populating the world of the future Neverland are Kevin Del Aguila as Smee, Matt D'Amico as Slank and Evan Harrington as Alf, all reprising their roles from the Broadway production. The new off-Broadway cast also features Edward Baker-Duly as Lord Aster, Jon Patrick Walker as Mrs. Bumbrake, Josh Grisetti as Fighting Prawn, Alex Hernandez as Captain Scott, Nate Miller as Ted, Andrew Mueller as Prentiss, Jordan Geiger, Joanna Howard and Graham Stevens.
A bouncy and inventive take on the celebrated Peter Pan tale, this prequel nabbed the Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for Favorite New Play after making its Rialto premiere in spring 2012. The show now returns off-Broadway, where it earlier appeared at New York Theatre Workshop.
