Elizabeth Marvel Lands Leading Role Opposite John Benjamin Hickey in The CW Pilot Blink

Elizabeth Marvel is headed to television as the adult lead in the new CW pilot drama Blink, reports Deadline.com.

Marvel will star as Helen Trask, a psychotherapist whose life is turned upside down when her husband Greg (Tony winner John Benjamin Hickey) is involved in a car accident that leaves him unable to move or speak, becoming reliant only on sight and hearing.

You’ve definitely seen Marvel on screen if you went to the movies in 2012. The recent Picnic alum had roles in Lincoln, Hyde Park on Hudson and The Bourne Legacy, as well as on TV on The Newsroom and Person of Interest. The Broadway veteran’s theater credits include Other Desert Cities, Top Girls, Seascape, An American Daughter and Taking Sides.
