Cheryl Freeman to Heat Up Off-Broadway's Cougar the Musical

Cheryl Freeman will join the cast of Cougar the Musical at off-Broadway's St. Luke's Theatre. Freeman will take over the role of Clarity in the sexy musical.

Directed and choreographed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, the comedy follows three disillusioned women as they develop a taste for a younger breed of men. As they croon their way through a variety of original songs, the ladies (and one multi-talented boy) learn to say “yes” to getting older, and find out that love is in fact ageless. In addition to Freeman, the musical also features Mary Mossberg, Babs Winn and Danny Bernardy.

Freeman has appeared on Broadway in The Who’s Tommy, The Civil War, Play On!, Amen Corner and Show Boat. Her off-Broadway credits include Fame, Walmartopia and Miracle Brothers.
