Before he storms the barricades of Toronto's upcoming Les Miserables revival, West End star Ramin Karimloo will embark on a North American concert tour.
Karimloo will kick off the tour at Los Angeles' The Federal on April 21 and 22. He will proceed to make stops at Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana (April 27), the Hogg Auditorium in Austin (April 29), Rowlett High School in Roweltt (May 2), the Birchmere in Alexandria (May 16), the Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore (May 19), the World Cafe in Philadelphia (May 20), the Regatta Bar in Boston (May 22) and B.B. Kings' in New York (May 24 and 25).
Karimloo originated the role of the Phantom in the West End run of the Phantom of the Opera sequel, Love Never Dies. He has also starred as Jean Valjean in the West End production of Les Miserables, as well as the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. He played the Phantom again in the 25th Anniversary concert of The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall in London. His other theater credits include Pirates of Penzance, Jesus Christ Superstar and Miss Saigon. He released his solo album Human Heart in 2012.
