The West End production of Singin’ in the Rain will play its final performance on June 8 at the Palace Theatre. The show will then launch an extensive U.K. tour beginning on November 9 at Manchester Opera House.
Jonathan Church’s production opened in the West End in February 2012 after a sold out run at the Chichester Festival Theatre. The show is based on the iconic 1952 movie musical starring Gene Kelly as a silent movie star who struggles to come to terms with a changing Hollywood at the advent of talking pictures.
Adam Cooper leads the cast as Don Lockwood, with Louise Bowden as Kathy Selden and Stephane Annelli as Cosmo Brown. The cast also features Jennifer Ellison, Sandra Dickinson, Peter Forbes, Mark Hadfield, David Lucas, Frankie Jenna, Karen Aspinall, Emma Caffrey, Matthew Croke, Brendan Cull, Adam Denman, Kelly Ewins-Prouse, Charlene Ford, Olivia Fines, Tim Hodges, Nia Jermin, Peter Le Brun, Matthew Malthouse, Adam Margilewski, Oliver Metzler, Gillian Parkhouse, Joseph Prouse, Charlotte Scott, Zara Warren and Nancy Wei George.
