Broadway Vets Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young Share Engagement Photos in People

A year after becoming engaged on the 2012 finale of American Idol, Broadway and Idol vets Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young are showing off their official engagement photos in People. The couple, who met in 2010 when they played Sheila and Berger in the Broadway revival of Hair, posed in Los Angeles' Laurel Canyon for wedding photographer Brian Leahy.

“We have been having a blast planning our wedding and working together,” Young told the magazine, revealing that he and DeGarmo plan to tie the knot in L.A. in June. The couple continues to collaborate professionally, as well, co-hosting the pop culture news show Planet 360 on the Hallmark Movie Channel.

DeGarmo, now 25, was runner-up in the third season of American Idol, and Young, 32, finished in fifth place in season five. In addition to Hair, DeGarmo has appeared on Broadway as Penny Pingleton in Hairspray, and Young played Kenickie in the Broadway revival of Grease.
