The boys of Newsies celebrated one year on the Great White Way on March 29 with a backstage bash. The party continued on April 1, when the cast offered up a very special performance of the show’s opening number “Carrying the Banner.” Good Morning America invited their Times Square neighbors to take to the streets and make the journey from Broadway’s Nederlander Theatre to GMA’s studio in one grand song.
