The show, starring Brian d’Arcy James and Kate Baldwin, charts the lives of a cattle rancher, his high society wife and their struggles with family, fortune, greed, money and oil in the heart of Texas.
The cast of Giant also features PJ Griffith, Miguel Cervantes, Natalie Cortez, John Dossett, Jon Fletcher, Mackenzie Mauzy, Michele Pawk, Bobby Steggert, Katie Thompson and William Youmans, as well as Enrique Acevedo, Raul Aranas, Becca Ayers, Mary Bacon, Xavier Cano, Rocio Del Mar Valles, Michael Halling, Melissa Mitchell, Doreen Montalvo, Allison Rogers, Isabel Santiago, Tally Sessions, Martin Sola and Matthew Stocke.
The two-disc cast album will be produced by Ghostlight Records and will mark the fourth album from the Public Theater (previous releases include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Hair and See What I Wanna See). The album will include a 44-page full-color booklet with the entire libretto as well as liner notes by the Public’s artistic director Oskar Eustis.
