Berry Gordy Talks the Making of Motown: The Musical on CBS This Morning

Music icon Berry Gordy wanted to tell his story his way, and he’s doing just that in Motown: The Musical, the soulful new Broadway show that Gordy wrote and produced about his own rise from small-town dreamer to major music mogul. The show opens on April 14, but Gordy took to CBS This Morning to offer up his take on the story of Motown and what it took to bring the toe-tapping tuner to the Broadway stage. Gordy also addressed his love affair with the famed Diana Ross and recalled the moment at age eight when he discovered his passion. Watch the interview below!
