Bubble Alert! Katie Rose Clarke Returns to Wicked As Broadway’s Latest Glinda

Wicked alum Katie Rose Clarke will once again fly high above Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre via bubble as she takes over the role of Glinda beginning April 23. Clarke previously played the role of the popular “good witch” for nearly two years on Broadway before leading the national tour. Current Glinda, Alli Mauzey plays her final performance on April 21.

In addition to Wicked, Clarke appeared as Clara Johnson in the Broadway and first national touring company of The Light in the Piazza. Other credits include Prayer for My Enemy and Anything Goes.

Clarke joins a company that includes Willemijn Verkaik as Elphaba, Kyle Dean Massey as Fiyero, Randy Danson as Madame Morrible, Adam Grupper as The Wizard, Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, John Schiappa as Dr. Dillamond, and F. Michael Hayne as Boq.

Wicked was recently named by fans the All-Time Best Broadway Musical in Broadway.com’s March Musical Madness.
