Summer 2013 just got hotter as Tony and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner Patti LuPone announced that she will return to 54 below July 22 to 27 with her acclaimed show Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda…(Played That Part). LuPone performed the show at 54 back in February for six performances only.
In Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda…(Played That Part), LuPone performs songs from roles she coulda played, woulda played (had she been asked) or shoulda played. Fans can expect LuPone to sing selections from Hair, Bye Bye Birdie, Funny Girl, West Side Story, Kiss Me Kate and Peter Pan.
LuPone officially opened the club at 54 Below in June 2012 with her show Far Away Places. She returned to the night spot in September for an encore engagement and also performed a special New Year’s Eve concert there.
LuPone won Tony Awards for Evita and Gypsy. She received Tony nominations for her work in Sweeney Todd, Anything Goes and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Her other Broadway credits include An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, Noises Off, Master Class, The Old Neighborhood and Oliver!
