Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner (and three-time Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards nominee) Bette Midler is taking a bite out of Broadway as Hollywood agent Sue Mengers in the new play I’ll Eat You Last. The one-woman show, opening at the Booth Theatre on April 24, marks Midler’s return to the boards after more than a 30-year absence. (In fact, the last time the Divine Miss M played a character that was not herself on Broadway was in 1967 when she took over the role of Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof.) During her time away from the Great White Way, Midler has starred in some beloved films of the past four decades. We’ve taken it upon ourselves to narrow down her screen credits to a top 15, and now we want to know: Which is your favorite Bette Midler screen role? Vote below!
