What could be better than a movie about a talented kid who dreams of appearing on Broadway, filled with a cast of real-life Broadway actors? On April 28, Mark Oxman presented his new short film, Sing Along, at a screening attended by many of the cast members. The film centers on Stephen (Miles Erlick), a 14-year-old whose theater dreams might be derailed by the fact that he stutters. Among the cast are Tony winner Alice Ripley as Stephen's mom and Heidi Blickenstaff as his supportive teacher. After the screening, Broadway.com Editor in Chief Paul Wontorek moderated a talkback on this timely musical film. Check out our Hot Shot of company members (back row) Oxman, Blickenstaff, Ripley and Uzo Aduba and (front row) Sam Tsui, Remy Zaken, Erlick and Cassandra Taylor, then take a look at the official Sing Along trailer below.
